Harry Potter author JK Rowling has updated her diary
today with news about how difficult it is to find paper in Edinburgh, visiting the Order of the Phoenix set and talking to the actors.
Below is an excerpt of the entry:
It was exciting to see some of the new Order of the Phoenix sets, but most of all to see the actors again - slightly unnerving to realise that nearly all of them are taller than me now (I speak, of course, of the teenagers; Michael Gambon was always taller than me, and very lovely he looked in his new robes, too.) Apart from the pleasure of seeing Tom Felton, Devon Murray, Alfred Enoch, Sitara Shah (and waving through the door at Bonnie Wright, who was busy being tutored), I had a great time talking to Dan and Matthew about books, Rupert about how his sisters never wind him up, Oliver and James about how difficult they find it to wind each other up, and Emma about Hermione's love life. Also met, and had a long chat, with Evanna Lynch (Luna), about whom there is only one possible thing to say: perfect.
The Rumours section has also been updated as well as the Extras section with a piece about the proliferation of skinny young woman in the media. Thanks to everyone who emailed us.

I'm so glad she like coming to the set and talking to the actors! It is exciting that she loves the new Luna that should make any (if there was any) rumers put to rest about that choice and move on.

I read all her newest entries- and aww, I think it's great that she thinks Evanna is perfect. If she the Queen of Harry Potter Herself thinks so, that's good enough for the rest of us! I think she knows her characters and appreciates how special Luna is, so I'll take this as a good sign.

Evanna wasn't what I expected her to be, so I hope she doesn't disappoint me. The only actor that has disappointed me was Michael Gambon really. I don't think he does a good Dumbledore, so I suppose she can't disappoint me any more than him.

I'm so glad that JKR thinks the actress playing Luna is "perfect." Luna is one of my favorite characters - I think it would ruin the next movie for me if Luna is a flop.

Well, thats cool. I am always glad to hear Jo's approval, however, would she really say that somebody sucks? I dont think so, espicially not about one of the kids. I just dont see her as that type of person. SO, I hope that she really thinks that the girl playing Luna is perfect.
