Harry Potter author JK Rowling has updated her diary
today with news about how difficult it is to find paper in Edinburgh, visiting the Order of the Phoenix set and talking to the actors.
Below is an excerpt of the entry:
It was exciting to see some of the new Order of the Phoenix sets, but most of all to see the actors again - slightly unnerving to realise that nearly all of them are taller than me now (I speak, of course, of the teenagers; Michael Gambon was always taller than me, and very lovely he looked in his new robes, too.) Apart from the pleasure of seeing Tom Felton, Devon Murray, Alfred Enoch, Sitara Shah (and waving through the door at Bonnie Wright, who was busy being tutored), I had a great time talking to Dan and Matthew about books, Rupert about how his sisters never wind him up, Oliver and James about how difficult they find it to wind each other up, and Emma about Hermione's love life. Also met, and had a long chat, with Evanna Lynch (Luna), about whom there is only one possible thing to say: perfect.
The Rumours section has also been updated as well as the Extras section with a piece about the proliferation of skinny young woman in the media. Thanks to everyone who emailed us.

If JKR says evanna is perfect for the part of Luna, then she must be! Online JKR really has the true ideas of what these characters will look like, which makes me wonder, did she really approve of the way they portrayed Lupin?

Well I think JK has creative control on what they put in the movies, and as far as I remember she always says she's happy with all the films. I wonder if she owns any of the films?

Can't wait for Order of the Pheonix to come out. I'm pretty sure it's going to be the best one yet. Just as good as the others anyway.

Aww...thats wicked. It's always nice to hear Jo talk about how much she loves the actors. And I also think its cool how she goes to the set and actually sits down with the starts and talks to them about the books and movies and other things. I think thats why Jo is such a magnificent person. Futhermore, I'm glad that she thinks Evanna is a perfect fit for Luna. I was a little worried when the cast her but in all I thought that she would do a good job and I hope that she does. I can't wait to see what she looks like.

I love the fact that JK updates her site and lets us know what's going on in her life and with the book. I also think that its cool that she sometimes goes on the set and sees how things are going. I wonder if she puts her two cents in? Anyways, I would love to watch them do a shoot...that would be awesome! And it's great that she thinks Evanna is perfect cause that means that Evanna is doing a great job portraying JK's idea of Luna Lovegood perfectly, or near perfect.
