Harry Potter author JK Rowling has updated her diary
today with news about how difficult it is to find paper in Edinburgh, visiting the Order of the Phoenix set and talking to the actors.
Below is an excerpt of the entry:
It was exciting to see some of the new Order of the Phoenix sets, but most of all to see the actors again - slightly unnerving to realise that nearly all of them are taller than me now (I speak, of course, of the teenagers; Michael Gambon was always taller than me, and very lovely he looked in his new robes, too.) Apart from the pleasure of seeing Tom Felton, Devon Murray, Alfred Enoch, Sitara Shah (and waving through the door at Bonnie Wright, who was busy being tutored), I had a great time talking to Dan and Matthew about books, Rupert about how his sisters never wind him up, Oliver and James about how difficult they find it to wind each other up, and Emma about Hermione's love life. Also met, and had a long chat, with Evanna Lynch (Luna), about whom there is only one possible thing to say: perfect.
The Rumours section has also been updated as well as the Extras section with a piece about the proliferation of skinny young woman in the media. Thanks to everyone who emailed us.

As to the paper, I'd suggest Borders in Fort Kinnaird... they have all these lovely sorts of paper by Paperchase I think it's called... Oh, but that's not in the centre of course! *slaps forehead*

Very cool information. It's nice that she's gotten a chance to go to the set some, and I find it highly amusing that she commented on the whole spoof merger. On a more serious note I'm a little surprised at the rant, but quite pleased that she's willing to address something like that. I can't believe someone's first comment after not seeing her for three years would be about her weight and not about her children or book accomplishments. Geesh.

It is very true of what she said, lately a lot of people are more concerned on how they look like, or what they even buy in order to get attention from people. What happened to getting notices becaused of the smile of the person or maybe even their personality!

Hooray for Evanna! It must be rather intimidating to join the cast at this point. The adult actors are all extraordinary and the younger stars have the experience of four movies developing their parts. It is great to see Rowling is confident in her abilities.

Thats soo awesome. im soo jealous at the same time. id love to just hang out at the set...i dont care if it was just to clean up or take out the trash it would be soo great to talk to JKR or the cast about the books and stuff.... :(
