Actor Jim McManus
will portray the bit part of Albus Dumbledore's brother Aberforth in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, according to The Leaky Cauldron.
The unnamed bartender at the Hog's Head in Phoenix (who we later learn is Aberforth) witnesses the inaugural meeting of the student-led Dumbledore's Army there.

I didnt even no dumbledores brother was ebven in the book order of the phoinex.

I like the idea of taking either normally bit charectors and expanding discussions on them. I have seen him in doctor who so I reconize the name if not the face. (He does well or else I dont think WB would risk it.) BUT the fact little is known abouit him may be what makes it interesting in two ways. 1) FRESH blood and acting ideas for (Even small parts) charectors could be a foreshadowing of what is YET to come. (After all with DUMBLEDOR suposally not coming back... In relm of magic death is NOT Bnessasaryly perminent) we may find out that the only thing that kept him from dumbledors life was a lack of direction NOT power.) (For example think of weasly twins and what they do with their GIFTS in magic.) NOT everyones calling is the same... BUUUUUUT... also in the same light maybe brother might take dumbledors place for helping Harry Potter in directions in life and choices in future BEYOND Voldemort.

Pictures anyone??? Aberforth being in the movie can mean one of two things: 1) he has an important role in the last book 2) the directors etc. love putting in not so important characters or I suppose there is also option 3) Aberforth will just be a character that keeps being mentioned and has no real purpose.

Im looking forward to how he will be included in this film. He is just barley mentioned in the series, casting him is pretty significant. I think there is a Chance that Alberforth will play a roll in Book 7.
