I'm glad they decided not to cut him out of this film. He is a character that does keep coming up. I think this decision helps support the theories of Aberforth serving some importance in the next book.

Well, the LC is usually pretty reliable, but I think I will wait to hear confirmation from the WB first. They usually put out something. I don't recognize the name, though...I'll have to look him up.

I hope he does well. I personally don't much care for the actor that plays DD now. I wish they had had Ian (Gandalf) take the role...

I have seen this guy in Horatio Hornblower the Loyalty episode. It is so funny because a lot of the people from the shows Midsomer Murders, Poirot, Sherlock Holmes and Horatio show up in the HP movies; the Minister of Magic (Robert Hardy), Madame Pomfrey (cant remember her name), James Potter, Voice of the sorting hat, voice of Aragog, Miriam Margoles, etc. That or they are from Gosford Park (Geraldine Somerville (Lily), Michael Gambon, Maggie Smith)Very crazy. I will have to watch Loyalty now.....

When I first glimpsed at this article. I thought it said ALBUS and that they were replacing Gambon (who I hate as Albus). With this casting, it confirms our thoughts and the hints on Aberforth. :)

Send us an update when you've got a picture because that's what I'm most curious about. Although I'm sure they'll do a fine job in casting, I think they're great at it.

Well, that's not much he has to do in the movie, hasn't he?
Just standing around, cleaning glasses, getting butterbeers and not saying a word...unless they show when he reports Dumbledore about the DA..

I just read the Mundungus won't be in the film! Unbelivable, actually it is quite belivable because the films are always messed up. Aberforth doesn't even do anything in the book, just polish some glasses! I had even found the perfect person to play 'Dung!
