Actor Jim McManus
will portray the bit part of Albus Dumbledore's brother Aberforth in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, according to The Leaky Cauldron.
The unnamed bartender at the Hog's Head in Phoenix (who we later learn is Aberforth) witnesses the inaugural meeting of the student-led Dumbledore's Army there.

I just read the Mundungus won't be in the film! Unbelivable, actually it is quite belivable because the films are always messed up. Aberforth doesn't even do anything in the book, just polish some glasses! I had even found the perfect person to play 'Dung!

Well I'm glad that they're not changing the character because if they did...it would be a disaster...I mean we've already lost one Dumbledore...(Richard Harris:::love you:::)...and I can't stand losing another important character again...:(:(:(...so everything is alright as long as Michael Gamble stays...:D:D:D

We have an important clue here... If it gets confirmed, that guy will be DD's brother, the one that we knew existed, but seen how much time? One? Maybe he's a part of the last book, I don't know. Jo is influent with the movies, so I guess she sees a better view of that character than us, who knows little about him.
