Actor Jim McManus
will portray the bit part of Albus Dumbledore's brother Aberforth in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, according to The Leaky Cauldron.
The unnamed bartender at the Hog's Head in Phoenix (who we later learn is Aberforth) witnesses the inaugural meeting of the student-led Dumbledore's Army there.

Excellent! I hope this is true! I was hoping that they'd include Aberforth in it (sometimes wishes do come true!), because I feel that he'll be somewhat crucial in the seventh book, and since the movie creators didnt let the hint from GoF book stay in the movie, its about time they'd introduce him to us (not properly to Harry, though. Unless they change that detail in the movie).
Looking forward to hopefully WB confirming and seeing a picture of this actor.

Well, I googled him and got the pictures of five-six different people, so who knows what he looks like at this point. I wonder if he'll be introduced as Aberforth in the movie, or if he'll just be in the background? I hope they give him a nametag when he serves the drinks, that would be so funny!

That's neat that they are including him in this movie because he will show up in the future. I think that's a great thing, especially for those who haven't read the books. They'll be like "Oh yeah, that guy! I never knew he was important!". This feeling is a lot truer to Jo's wonderfully wound web, which is often missed in the movies.
Hope someone finds a pic soon, I'd like to see what he looks like!

Well i have no clue who he is, and after looking on the link its not helped as theres no photo of him *ponders* I find it extremely suspicious that theyd cast the bar tender, DD brother must play a bigger part in the last book else its a bit of a pointless part to cast and mention on here...intreaging.Good luck to the guy.
