Warner Bros. has now confirmed to us the release dates for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in several countries:
The newest dates give French and German fans an earlier bow for the film than English-speaking countries.

Wouldn't it make more sense for ENGLISH speaking countries to get the movie first, I mean it is recorded in English!! July 11 should be for U.S., UK, Ireland and Australia Not France. Either way.. I am excited and can't wait. I am wondering if I should fly to France or just wait the extra couple of days?

I can't belive France gets to see the movie a whole two days before me, and Germany a whole day!!! :'( ... It stinks for Hungary, Bulgaria, and excpecially Australia, they have even longer to wait. Oh I can't wait for the film to come out it is driving me crazy!!!!!!! l.m.a.o I'll be counting the days...

I can't believe Warner Bros gave Australia a SEPTERMBER date! AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH! Thank god some people were sensible - there's a petition online to bring forward the release date. I mean, Aussie kids have holidays in July - all the kids are off school over July 13th. But the next holidays are in October. So if WB releases the fifth movie in September a) We aren't on holidays, it's the middle of Term 3. b) Look at how much piracy their is nowadays. That speaks for itself. c) Nobody's at all happy. Look out WB - you've got a mob of mad HP Aussie fans after you!
