Another Harry Potter actor was in New York this week to attend the Tribeca Film Festival. Alan Rickman (Prof. Snape in the Harry Potter movies) attended the premiere of his movie Snow Cake
last night with actress Sigourney Weaver.

Thanks to Michelle who sent us the last picture from the screening, she also let us know that Alan was also in town to find a new theatre venue for his play, My Name Is Rachel Corrie. Thanks to everyone else who emailed.

Yeah he does look a bit older without the black hair :) i still love him though, hehehe, alan rickman is one of the best actors in my opinion, he will never have trouble being in other movies as he was in heaps before HP came along. i wish there was a festival like this in australia, id definatly be going if there was!!!

Snow Cake? That is an odd name for a movie, but whatever. Is it a comedy? Alan Rickman is a funny guy, or atleast he was in Dogma. I wanna go to the Tribeca Film Festival so bad but my mom won't let me, today was the last day! I wanted to see Rupert's new movie so bad. He is shirtless in the movie people!! SHIRTLESS!!!!!!! I have to see that.

Wow. Remember when indie films were, like, on a budget, with no "names" in the cast (i.e. "The Blair With Project", Bowling for Columbine" and "Desperado")? They've come a loooong way, if Alan Rickman and Sigourney Weaver are in the main roles.
