Another Harry Potter actor was in New York this week to attend the Tribeca Film Festival. Alan Rickman (Prof. Snape in the Harry Potter movies) attended the premiere of his movie Snow Cake
last night with actress Sigourney Weaver.

Thanks to Michelle who sent us the last picture from the screening, she also let us know that Alan was also in town to find a new theatre venue for his play, My Name Is Rachel Corrie. Thanks to everyone else who emailed.

I really like Alan Rickman. I think he does a great job as Snape, and I love him in all the other movies that he does. I am glad that they chose him for the part.

Alan Rickman is a wonderful actor with a wide range. He can be anyone from nasty Professor Snape to hilariously ironic as the Voice of God in Dogma. These are characteristics of a true actor.

Very cool, although I like him much better when he's all done up as Snape rather than with graying hair. And truthfully him smiling is rather creepy. I think I've just seen too much of him as Snape recently.

I love Alan. I hope this movies is in wide release so I can go see it. He is such a great actor with a wide range of abilities, it is always a pleasure to see him in any role. And of course, no one else could do Snape as well. He does the perfect Snape. And I think he has an adorable smile.

I do not know why, but I am so in love of this guy. He is a great actor, since Die Hard, I have been following him. I just love him on Galaxy Quest and Love Acctually, but as a proffesor Snape, they could not choose someone better..Good for him....I will try to see him on Snow Cake.
