Another Harry Potter actor was in New York this week to attend the Tribeca Film Festival. Alan Rickman (Prof. Snape in the Harry Potter movies) attended the premiere of his movie Snow Cake
last night with actress Sigourney Weaver.

Thanks to Michelle who sent us the last picture from the screening, she also let us know that Alan was also in town to find a new theatre venue for his play, My Name Is Rachel Corrie. Thanks to everyone else who emailed.

I wish i could attend things like that, would be amazing to see the stars at their films very first showing :) Alan rickman is my favourate actor, and Sigourney Weaver i love from the Alieb films, so deffo going to watch that film when its released to the public! woot!

Well, finally some facts about Alan Rickman, sometimes I think that HPANA should really write more about all the adult actors of Harry Potter, they are kind of neglected here...
I'm so looking forward to see Snow Cake and it is not his only new movie: there are still Perfume and Noble Son waiting for all Alan Rickman fans.
He is one of the best actors ever and I hope he will continue acting for a long time - not only in the Harry Potter movies!

Also watch out for two more films being released this year; Perfume: The Story Of A Murderer, and Nobel Son. Alan is also going to be filming Villa Golitsyn in the summer in the South of France.
