Reports from the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix have been few and far between, but this morning a report
appeared online stating that Emma Thompson will reprise her role as Professor Trelawney and that the Knight Bus will also be making an appearance in the movie.
According to HPFZ from an extra in the film:
I have definite news that the scene where Trelawney is sacked by Umbridge will appear. It takes place in the courtyard (the one used at the end of GOF) and features Filch, Trelawney, Dumbledore, McGonagall, Umbridge and all of the main student cast (however, none, apart from Harry, play a big role in the scene).
During the scene, a group of extras (including me) have to stand on the steps outside the courtyard's main doors while [the teachers] and Harry have to pass through us. Trelawney is standing traumatised over a large group of her suitcases. (However, she isn't wailing and screaming like a mad person as described in the book. She's just standing upset and overwhelmed.)
I can also confirm that there's a Knight Bus stored on one of the sets, [and that it is slightly different from the one in Prisoner of Azkaban.
As of now we can't confirm the authenticity of this report, but if true the movie sounds like it will be fun to watch.

I hope they have not changed the knight bus too much. Glad Emma Thompson is back. I hope this movie is closer to the book than the last. Don't get me wrong I loved the last movie but they left out Winky which made my roommate and I really sad because she is so funny. Especially when she comes to work at Hogwarts and stays drunk all the time.

I wanted Trelawney to be really upset and be screaming like she was in the book! That was a good part in the book. Oh well, I'm sure it will be okay. That's cool that the Knight Bus will be back- that annoying talking head better not be in it again! Ugh... That head was so annoying in the interviews (on the DVD) for PoA...

Wicked I love Emma Thompson as Professor Trewlawney, definately glad to here taht she will be making her return, and as for the Knight Bus I think that it's a brilliant idea that they bring it back, the scene in Prisoner of Azkaban with Harry on the bus was so funny!

I think the movie will be fun to watch regardless, but I really am looking to Emma Thompson reprising her role, she's a really great actress...I wish they made her less crazy and more mystical in PoA though. I always saw this air of smugness around Trelawney, well until OotP and HBP.
