Reports from the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix have been few and far between, but this morning a report
appeared online stating that Emma Thompson will reprise her role as Professor Trelawney and that the Knight Bus will also be making an appearance in the movie.
According to HPFZ from an extra in the film:
I have definite news that the scene where Trelawney is sacked by Umbridge will appear. It takes place in the courtyard (the one used at the end of GOF) and features Filch, Trelawney, Dumbledore, McGonagall, Umbridge and all of the main student cast (however, none, apart from Harry, play a big role in the scene).
During the scene, a group of extras (including me) have to stand on the steps outside the courtyard's main doors while [the teachers] and Harry have to pass through us. Trelawney is standing traumatised over a large group of her suitcases. (However, she isn't wailing and screaming like a mad person as described in the book. She's just standing upset and overwhelmed.)
I can also confirm that there's a Knight Bus stored on one of the sets, [and that it is slightly different from the one in Prisoner of Azkaban.
As of now we can't confirm the authenticity of this report, but if true the movie sounds like it will be fun to watch.

i am so glad that is in there! i was so bummed out that it wasn't in GoF! Professor Trelawney that is. But i love reading that seen where Trelawney gets fired! and i love the night bus full stop.i really really cannot wait for the movie!

I mean I totally love the Knight Bus, but it's not such an important scene, and if they include something like that, it usually means they cut out something really important or that you really want to see in the film. anyway,i'm really excited about the new movie, but more than that, i'm so totally absolutely completely excited about the 7th book!!!!! AAAAGGHH!!!

Im so glad to start hearing about the scenes! Even to be an extral would be great, so that you could find out whats going on at the set! I so want to be in one of the films but a) i cant act and b) i live in australia so they wouldnt cast me...

ah I'm soooo gladdd! I really hope this is true.. I love the scene with Trelawny, I'm glad they're including it. I was hoping to see her bawling but its far better than nothing.
I'm atuclly surprised that theyre including the Knight Bus though? I believe it must be the scene from #12 back to school.. this seems minimal to the story line? Oh well.. I loved the way they did it in PoA so hopefully it will add some comedy :D

I really hope they do have Trelawney and the Knight Bus on Phoenix. They really need to put things that are actually part of the story. Not like GoF and never bringing Bill and Charlie Weasley, and never mentioning the veelas even.

I dont really like the idea of changing anything in the movie. It always turns out the movie to be a lot different from the actual story of the book. Like in GoF some thing s were totally changed and i didnt like that.

Yeah well they just better stick to this movie so good that its almost like the book in every way possible!!! becuase this one is like the best and my favorite one of all the books and hopefully all the movies too but right now i just like the 2nd one the best!!! but anyhoo i can't wait till the 5th one comes out next year! oh that just makes me sad saying next year!!!!
