Reports from the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix have been few and far between, but this morning a report
appeared online stating that Emma Thompson will reprise her role as Professor Trelawney and that the Knight Bus will also be making an appearance in the movie.
According to HPFZ from an extra in the film:
I have definite news that the scene where Trelawney is sacked by Umbridge will appear. It takes place in the courtyard (the one used at the end of GOF) and features Filch, Trelawney, Dumbledore, McGonagall, Umbridge and all of the main student cast (however, none, apart from Harry, play a big role in the scene).
During the scene, a group of extras (including me) have to stand on the steps outside the courtyard's main doors while [the teachers] and Harry have to pass through us. Trelawney is standing traumatised over a large group of her suitcases. (However, she isn't wailing and screaming like a mad person as described in the book. She's just standing upset and overwhelmed.)
I can also confirm that there's a Knight Bus stored on one of the sets, [and that it is slightly different from the one in Prisoner of Azkaban.
As of now we can't confirm the authenticity of this report, but if true the movie sounds like it will be fun to watch.

I hope that is true. Emma Thompson really needs to continue as "Trelawny" and that scene, to me, is vital to the storyline of the book. And I tend to believe this report, as we know for certain, that Fierenze is cast. Sounds good to me. We are moving right along. Yeah!

Well I certainly hope the Knight Bus is in there. It's going to be very interesting how OoTP turns out, it really is. The book had a feeling much different than the others. Thinking about it I'm not sure exactly how I liked it. I mean, I can't really decide if I liked HBP better or OoTP better. I know my favourite Harry Potter book is POA, and I'm also quite fond of GoF, but there was something about OoTP that... I can't even descripe it. The Harry Potter story owes so much to OoTP, and I wonder if they will be able to bring the same feeling to it, but I doubt it.

I'm not sure how happy I am with the idea of Trelawney being played as more in control of herself. I thought the hysteria was part of what made her character interesting in the book. As far as the Knight Bus is concerned, I think it would be a shame if it were missing from movie 5 - I could do without the talking shrunken heads this go round though.

That scene with Trelawney getting sacked by Umbridge will be kind of cool, because everybody thinks she's a "loony" anyways, but then again, she does has a purpose to stay at Hogwarts. There is some meaning behind why Dumbledore wants her to stay.

Yay! I'm glad Trelawney will be back! She has some great parts in thr OotP! I like the part after Harry does the interview for teh Quibbler when Trelawney tells himm he'll live to a ripe old age, become Minister of Magic, and have a bunch of kids. :) I hope they put that in the movie! :)
