Wow, a 10 month wait... I'd learn English just so I could read the British version if I were them. Harry Potter and the Puzzling Prince... how strange.

3,000 yen? That is a lot of money, even is you convert! I don't know what the conversion is but its probibly like 50 bucks or 30. Its great that books like Harry Potter can be translated into other cultures.

That's pretty quick considering how difficult it must be to translate. I envy those who can read/write/speak any foreign languages.

I feel bad for them having to wait this long. I dont think I could avoid the temptation of internet spoilers that long. When I got the book I didnt turn on the internet or TV until I was finished. I was so afraid someone would ruin the end for me

I think that it is a little sad it takes so long for the editors to translate the books into other languages. But at least they do it right?

I truly feel sorry for those Japanese fans who have had to wait so long, and have probably known poor Albus, may he resurrect as though a Phoenix from the ashes, has been killed.
I'm sure our great authoress is also happy many more people can appreciate he work now.

I am happy for Japan, it is sad that there are fans that have to wait so much time due to translation. THey should release it in every language the same day so that there is equality.

it's great that they're getting it at last, although I find myself intrigued by the Asian knock-off storylines- wasn't one of those- Harry Potter and the Crouching Tiger, or maybe it was the Hidden Dragon? Doesn't it amount to published fanfiction? For profit of course. I actually wonder what those storylines were.

Harry Potter and the Puzzling Prince? Interesting translation..
I wonder what it looks like inside, it would be really cool to see that! Is it in the Japenese alphabet? Or is it just like "Harry Potter to Nazo no Purinsu"- just in the language.

"Harry Potter and the Puzzling Prince?" Won't that kinda confused people when it gets to the half-blood prince part about Snapes mother? If it was me, I would definitely be confused. And two volumes is kind of odd. Oh well... I guess it doesn't matter to me much, I don't read Japanese.

Same thing, US version of the Philosopher's Stone was Sorcerer's Stone. Being bilingual, I know that not everything translates and makes sense.
Yay for Japan!
