Newly discovered dinosaur species named after Hogwarts

A newly discovered dinosaur species has been named 'Dracorex hogwartsia' after the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, made popular in JK Rowling's Harry Potter books.
In a special
satellite video feed on Monday, May 22, Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission paleontologist Robert Sullivan will describe the naming of the newly discovered dinosaur species.

That is definitely a tribute to how big the Harry Potter series has become. To name a dinosaur after a fictional school is a pretty big thing. Correction a really really big thing because I don't think that it has ever happened before.

Wow! I mean really wow! You know somethings made it big when it has a dinosaur named for it. Wow. I wonder what the dinosaur looks like. And where it was discovered. And why they named it after Harry Potter's Hogwarts. Not that that's a bad thing, I think it's wonderful. But did they just think 'I know we can get more publication if we name it after something in Harry Potter'?
