A newly discovered dinosaur species has been named 'Dracorex hogwartsia' after the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, made popular in JK Rowling's Harry Potter books.
In a special
satellite video feed on Monday, May 22, Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission paleontologist Robert Sullivan will describe the naming of the newly discovered dinosaur species.

It sounds like the reasoning behind the name will be explained on Monday, but it doesn't really matter that the two topics are unrelated. If you look at lots of scientific names, whether they are of dinosaurs or something else, such as a flower, you will see that scientists name their discoveries odd things. They have that right-after all, its their discovery:)
