A newly discovered dinosaur species has been named 'Dracorex hogwartsia' after the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, made popular in JK Rowling's Harry Potter books.
In a special
satellite video feed on Monday, May 22, Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission paleontologist Robert Sullivan will describe the naming of the newly discovered dinosaur species.

I think that is so amazing that they are naming a dinosaur after Hogwarts. It just proves how much impact the Harry Potter Books have put into this world. We all know that someday are kids will be reading them. No they also get to learn about a Dinosaur that is named after The great School. I cant wait now to see pictures of this Dinosaur...

Gee that is one devoted fan to name a dinosaur after the books, i wonder if JKR will get any money out of that (joking). Think about it, in 5000 yrs time people will look at that dinosaur and be told about the Harry Potter books.
