Young Marauders, others cast for 'Phoenix'

James Walters is to be Young Sirius Black, James Utechen will play a Young Remus Lupin and Alec Hopkins will portray Young Severus Snape in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, it was reported
today by CBBC Newsround.
The trio of "Young Marauders" will provide a glimpse into Harry's parent's generation in the film, in which they portray several of the main adult characters while they were still at Hogwarts themselves.
In a major casting change, Helena Bonham Carter will replace Helen McCrory as deatheater Bellatrix Lestrange, as McCrory now expects to be "heavily pregnant" during what would have been her filming. (Carter was last seen as Charlie's mom in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She also voiced a character in Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit opposite Ralph Fiennes.)
Care of Magical Creatures Professor Grubbly-Plank will be portrayed by 25-year stage veteran Apple Brook. Finally, Jason Piper will play Bane the Centaur.
Pictures of the new trio will be posted as soon as we get them! (They are all relative unknowns, but HPANA has confirmed that Alec Hopkins is the teen in this photo, from a Newbury Theatre production in 2003. Here's a group photo.)

Well that's to bad i was relly looking forward to Helen as Bella. I'm still kind of iffy about Carter as Bella, i'll have to wait and see pictures of her. IMO helen had a better over all look for bella than helena but i guess she isn't a bad second choice. Congrats to helen on the baby!!
Toady just happens to be Carter's 40th b-day. Nice present huh!

Oh my goodness! I can't wait to see the Marauders scene. You have absolutely no idea how much I'm anticipating it. I'd love to see the picture of Sirius and Remus. Snape is missing the long hair, I hope it will be way longer and greasier (obviously)

Oh hooray!I was just wandering when they were going t finish casting the Marauders...and no they have! Hang on - have they cast Wormtail yet? Anyhoo, I read about the casting change for Bellatrix on Ceefax today, she looks OK to play the part, can't really tell all that well until we see her dressed up and in the film. The actress playing Professor Grubbly-Plank looks good, too! And the person to play Snape looks really good, kinda how I imagined him! I sooo can't wait for the film it is gonna be the BEST!
