Bloomsbury publishing director Liz Calder said the next and final Harry Potter book is "likely" to be released in 2007... she hopes.
At the British Council's Creative Future
conference in India this week, Calder allegedly said as much in an interview with Indo-Asian News Service:
"One more 'Harry Potter' only but she (Rowling) said from the beginning that she would write seven. So she would not write another one after this. But Rowling would write other books for us," said Liz.
"The next 'Harry Potter' book is likely to come out in 2007. I hope so."
While Calder's comments are optimistic at best, she's one of only a handful of people other than Jo herself who could make such a weighty prediction.

Yes, I am really coming around to the idea of the 7th book on 07/07/07. It really does seem to fit. I liked Cheeser's article on the matter, pretty convincing. I wonder also, if perhaps the fact it is so perfect, might make it the very reason why it isn't chosen. I hope it's the first:)

Well if it is believed that JKR will not come out with any more Potter books after book 7 then maybe it will be true...after all it is what she said her plan was. I hope she still writes other books for us too, I just love her creative writing.

Actually, if you search for "Harry Potter 7" at the Norwegian data-base for books (the one bookshops use), it clearly states that the book is expected by June 21st 2007. Not that they have any way of knowing, though, since JK doesn't know herself yet...
But, we can hope, right?
It's really funny - they also have the prize ready (NOK 249). How can they know that???
I think I resent that...

Hopefully 2007 will see book 7. Somewhat thrilling and yet also sad for the end of the series. We here in our area are hoping that Ms Rowling will reconsider, in a few years and continue with more Harry Potter books in the future.

I read before in a article about the next movie that the book will come out in 2008. It makes sense so they can make it real big in 2008 too since there wont be any movie then as comes out in 2007 and HBP wont be finish by 2008.
But I am really happy if it comes out at the end of 2007. I mean give it to me today. Any day is a good day but make it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!
