Personally, I can't think of a bigger waste of my bank notes than to buy those.
The biggest argument against them is that there are no bank notes in the Potterverse. Buying replica Potter coins is one thing... buying a bank note with a charecter on it who does not even use paper cash is just silly, in my opinion.
