This week in New York the annual Licensing International Show
is taking place. This convention is where all the major studios gather to display their merchandise movie tie-ins for the coming year and as luck would have it, a poster from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was displayed.

That poster gets me so excited for the OoTP movie! Still, I wish Radcliffe's hair would have been kept longer. Also, it appears as though some of the poster was cut out, and I would have liked to seen it all. ¡Qué emocionado!

I like his hair shart, but i think it should be a bit longer because i thought thats what Harrys hair was like, messy and ruffled, so i think it should be longer.

That's so cool. I wish you could see the whole poster though. I wonder if there was anything else on the poster because usually they have other people on it and not just Harry. Maybe the Department of Mysteries or #12 Grimmauld Place or something like that.

I agree with basically everyone on the hair subject...which means I'm kind of on the fence. I loved Dan's hair in POA, I think it's the best they got it in the series, but I also love the way he keeps his hair outside of the series (ex: his hair during the Katie Couric interview on "Today" for GOF). I can say one thing for sure, I hated how long it was for GOF. When I pictured the messy Potter hair, I kinda pictured it sticking up everywhere, but still relatively short, like how a lot of boys today wear their hair (but they need product, whereas Harry's just did it naturally). With this image, you can't really see how the top looks, so, alas, I am on the fence. It's way too early to place judgements on it for sure, in my opinion. Let's wait for the full promo posters to come out, or better yet, the first trailer.

Im so glad that we are seeing some pictures of the next movie. Dan will even have short hair it looks so good on him. I cant wiat tell this movie comes out now that we have the date. July 13, 2007 it will also be friday the 13th. Ireally hope we start getting some info for the 7th book coming soon to like when it will be released. I cant wait tell next year it will all happen.

I just read through all the posts and I realized two people (only two people unless I missed something: Aurora and Harryrulesootp1) were right about something...Harry doesn't have his scar, at least not easily noticable like it should be. Either it's not there, above his right eye (our viewing left), or it's so blurry it's practically disappeared above his left eye (our viewing right). Either way, that's a glaring problem because if you look at where his scar is in at least POA it's above his right eye (I'm too lazy to look it up in the books and the hp lexicon doesn't say which side as far as I saw) so I think we can assume things are going to change and this image isn't one we should base our opinions on.
