This week in New York the annual Licensing International Show
is taking place. This convention is where all the major studios gather to display their merchandise movie tie-ins for the coming year and as luck would have it, a poster from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was displayed.
You can see the image here
(just scroll down the page) courtesy of AICN
. Thanks to Michael and Matt for the tip.

That is the worst picture quality in the world. Throwing that out of my mind...I'm a tad dissapointed. I mean I know it's just a teaser but there doesn't seem to be anything to do with ootp in the poster. It's like dan radcliffe in front of a picture of a blue building. Woopee.

I'm so excited! I wish they would get his hair right... isn't it suppose to be messy? I wish in the movies Harry would have green eyes and messy hair... (hahaha) oh well!

Again with the hair?! It amuses me to no end how, no matter what Dan's hair looks like, people are freaked out when they first see it. I remember when GoF pictures started being released everyone was hating the long hair, now it seems more people than I ever expected are pining for the long-hair days!
It seems a bit early for promotional posters for OotP to even exist. I'm pretty surprised to see this!

His hair looks really slicked back, but I like it better than his GOF hair. The long hair just doesn't do anything for me.

Dan has short hair?! im not really sure about that... but i guess that's ok... he looks neat... but i prefer his look in PoA... not too short and not too long... anyway, hope to see Rup and Emma's next time :)

I can't believe they cut his hair again. I'll admit it was getting a bit long in The Goblet of Fire, but by looks of the poster it is waaay to short. It's so sad. I just hope they didn't cut Ron's hair too. That would be even more depressing.

I'm not too sure about that poster. Looks like maybe recycled imagery from one of the other movies,
Except for his hair! Where has the hair gone!! ARRRRR!!! i loved his hair when is was all scruffy and grown out a little, just like the description in the books.
But I guess I'll have to wait until they bring out the official photos and merch to see what the rest of them look like.
Keep the hair!!!!

Awesome. His hair is a bit too short for my tastes, but he is still so wonderful, and posters for the new movie are wonderful as well. =)

Not as thrilling as I thought it would be. It's supposed to be a teaser, but they had really good ones for GoF.

I agree with AJ. I liked his hair in PoA. The new poster is exciting news though. If only the movie was coming out soon. I guess I will have to settle with reading the book again.

Wow, the first OotP movie poster! Whoo hoo. I just can't get over Dan's hair. I don't really like it. Still, my favorite look for him was when he was in POA. It looked great in that film.

It's an okay poster. I hope the other posters for the movie look much better than this one. Hmm and I see they've reverted Harry back to Movie 3 style hair. Interesting.

Wow, Dan cut his hair short again. I hate how it's long in GoF and now short in OotP, but I prefer it short. Long hair isn't right on him, makes him look like a girl. Hope Rupert did cut his too, they had the same haircut look if you think about it. *back to the main point* Cool! I'm excited! Even though I don't get to go! :(

I should get a few of those posters. Put it somewhere between Eminem and Triple H, though I will need to get a color that goes with my DX stuff, which I never got rid of.

I'm going to be complaining to his makeup team about that release...how did he ever agree to that?!
Well, at least we're moving forward with the release of a poster. It's a big step, no doubt.

How bad is that picture? Very bad. I've said it many times already, but Dan's hair is horrible! So un-Harry. I hate this movie already. Even though I will most likely go see the movie the first day, I'll most likely hate it. If nothing else, I'll hate Dan. How could he get his adoreable hair cut so ugly & short?

Where is his hair?? That's a trademark of Harry and it looks quite strange without it all wild and long. I hope they keep his hair long for the actual movie.

Harry's hair-change, I'm guessing, is an attempt to make him look more like James Potter (since there's a crucial pensieve scene that's been cast)? Otherwise... ah, heck with it. They took liberties with Hermione's dress/character in GOF, got rid of uniforms in POA, so another major change/deviation from the books (this hair-thing, Dan's mention of Harry's capitalized dialogue not-meaning-anger) -- I'm pretty much expecting.
