This week in New York the annual Licensing International Show
is taking place. This convention is where all the major studios gather to display their merchandise movie tie-ins for the coming year and as luck would have it, a poster from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was displayed.

Harry's hair-change, I'm guessing, is an attempt to make him look more like James Potter (since there's a crucial pensieve scene that's been cast)? Otherwise... ah, heck with it. They took liberties with Hermione's dress/character in GOF, got rid of uniforms in POA, so another major change/deviation from the books (this hair-thing, Dan's mention of Harry's capitalized dialogue not-meaning-anger) -- I'm pretty much expecting.

I actually quite like the hair - I think it makes him look older. I don't think his hair is the most important thing about the film, so I'd rather they made his hair different to the books and kept other, more essential elements in than vice versa. Although, I think that is wishful thinking having seen the other four films!

It's starting already!!! I can't wait to get more pictures and posters and all that. Once again I have to say that it is so much better that "Harry" has short hair again. It wasn't too bad with the longer as in Goblet, but I do prefer it shorter as it is now.

Ok now someone NEEDS to explain to me what IS going on with Dan's Hair! Seriously, they've just gone from horribly bad in GoF to completely and utterly DISGUSTING!!! His hair is going from bad to worse...clearly the peak (if you could call it that) was in PoA. This is also distressing me because I now have to discuss how bad his hair is....sigh!
Anyway, good to see some promos already! Now all we need are some lovely promo shots of the new cast members decked out in their costumes...here's hoping!

I read back in the earlier posts that we need to get back to the PoA hair for Harry and I couldn't agree more. I think that was his best look by far.
