Yesterday we told you that there would be footage previewed from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at this years Comic-Con in San Diego. We have now received direct word from Warner Bros. that this is not the case.
A taped greeting featuring director David Yates and actor Daniel Radcliffe shown on Friday, July 21st at 11 am, no footage from the movie will be shown. It is not a trailer nor will it include footage from the movie.

Actually, I'm kind of glad they aren't showing any clips. For one thing it would have surprised me that this early on they would have had enough footage put together to actually be able to show a clip that would end up being in the movie. For another, it's _way_ to early to be seeing clips and too many pictures and all. It's a few days over a year until the movie is released, I think I'd be even more impatient to see the movie if we start getting all those clips and stuff this soon.
