Yesterday we told you that there would be footage previewed from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at this years Comic-Con in San Diego. We have now received direct word from Warner Bros. that this is not the case.
A taped greeting featuring director David Yates and actor Daniel Radcliffe shown on Friday, July 21st at 11 am, no footage from the movie will be shown. It is not a trailer nor will it include footage from the movie.

Oh. That's pretty lame... but it makes a bit of sense. I wouldn't imagine that they'd have concrete footage this early after the GoF was released (I could be wrong about that, though, since I know next to nothing about making movies).

I didn't think they would want to have footage from the movie out this early. I didn't even think they would have any footage to actually show this early. I mean, it doesn't come out for a year.
