The Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD has won
three Home Entertainment awards. The awards for 'DVD Extras of the Year from a Major Studio' and 'Sell-Through Title of the Year from a Major Studio' where given out this week at the VSDA's Home Entertainment 2006 which is currently taking place in Las Vegas.
The DVD also won
an award for 'Best Overall Presentation - Theatrical Release.'
The Home Entertainment Awards are presented by the Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA) in recognition of outstanding achievement in home video.

That's great for them. I really liked most of the extras in the film. I do wish that they would give you the option of playing the movie with the extra scenes or without. We watched a DVD of the movie Stargate, and they give you the option of playing the released film or the extended film. :o)

I still contest that this was not my favorite of the four movies... It was good, but PoA was better. I am not surprised it won so many awards.

I've never understood the awards mania. If you have to give out awards every year, what if there's a bad year?! Not that I'm saying GoF didn't deserve something. That scene with the dragon was cool (if not exactly canon).
