The Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD has won
three Home Entertainment awards. The awards for 'DVD Extras of the Year from a Major Studio' and 'Sell-Through Title of the Year from a Major Studio' where given out this week at the VSDA's Home Entertainment 2006 which is currently taking place in Las Vegas.
The DVD also won an award for 'Best Overall Presentation - Theatrical Release.'
The Home Entertainment Awards are presented by the Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA) in recognition of outstanding achievement in home video.

Wow! GOF is still winning awards! That's amazing! The DVD sure did have some cool features on it, so it definately deserved that award. Sold heaps of DVD copies too for that matter... I thought Narnia sold more...or was that just in the UK?
This is good though! Means the award season is comming up! WOO HOO! The Globes and Oscars are on their way!

I loved the movie but I was a bit let down with some of the graphics on the DVD special features and menus. I thought that since they did such a great job on the movie they could have done better on the DVD. But that aside I am glad that it won three awards. I can't wait for the fifth movie!

Yay! i loved the DVD and it was pretty good. I would like them to become more like the LOTR dvd's with hours and hours of extras, but it is certainly better than the SS dvd!

That is so great. I am absolutely in love with this movie. I think that they could have done better on some stuff and they could have added some sruff that they forgot to put in there though. It was really good though. I loved it but it wasn't my favorite.
