The Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD has won
three Home Entertainment awards. The awards for 'DVD Extras of the Year from a Major Studio' and 'Sell-Through Title of the Year from a Major Studio' where given out this week at the VSDA's Home Entertainment 2006 which is currently taking place in Las Vegas.
The DVD also won an award for 'Best Overall Presentation - Theatrical Release.'
The Home Entertainment Awards are presented by the Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA) in recognition of outstanding achievement in home video.

I'm happy to see that still some months after the release of that movie it wins some prizes again! That was a really good seller movie but all the prestigious prizes like oscars didn't see that.

WOw i havent herd of those awards but hey good for them...the extras on the 2nd disc were so good i would have bout the disc just for the extras but i liked the movie so im a happy chappy all around...the interview with dan, rupert, and emma was really good i recommend that you get it or borrow it and watch it if you already havent done so because it is awesome!!!!

Good it's about time that it was recognized by some sort of award ceremony. It really was very good-not exactly canon but what movie can be with everything from a book, it's impossibe. But the movie was excellent.

The movie deserves many such awards, as it has a fine quality concerning special effects and the set. As far as entertainment is concerned, the achievement is brilliant. However I don't think the music (in this opus) and scenario deserve any reward. But Gof remains a fine movie all the same.

Yes more awards for GoF! I liked the extras on the DVD, although I would have liked to see more interviews with different members of the cast. At least there was no stupid talking head though!
