It's good to finally see a release date! I thought that they were never going to release it! Although September 8th seems a long time from now.....

That date is so far away. But then again, its not as if I'll even be able to watch. I've been hearing about it for so long that I thought that it showed already.

Well, you could be right, being that it is an indie film. However, that's not to say that it wouldn't be considered a good film if Rupert wasn't in it.
That's what I like about the movie. I really think that it's a good movie, but Rupert just add whipped cream onto the already good icecream. That's the way I see it.
I'm not saying that everyone will like it, I'm just saying that the film shouldn't be thought more of or less of because Rupert is in it. It's a good film on it's own merits.
This film being shown at all of these festivals is not just about Rupert. This is the directors first time out. He also wrote the script, so he wants to get his work out there and seen by as many people as possible. True the cast of Rupert, Laura and Julie does help, but in the end, it's about a first director want to get his story told.
There are many independent films that start as limited releases (in major cities). Hopefully, if it does well, it will be put on a wider release. This is a common occurance and some films, such as, The Blair Witch Project started off as small limited release films and then went wide.

That first part I wrote, was supposed to be in quotations, I guess quotations don't work here, but I was quoting from another comment and trying to respond to it....

I hate it when they do limited releases of the movies in the US... That usually means that the theater closest to my home won't get it... I'm gonna have to drive at least 2.5 hours just to see it, but I'm sure it will be well worth my time

Limited release in the US? Oh god, I live in such a nowhere town I'll probably never get to see it! This stinks. I guess I'll just have to wait and see, but it is an awful long way away...

I am hoping that the US release is in a city near me. I live near Orlando and Tampa but I am not above going all the way to Miami or Atlanta. I really would like to see the film, besides I believe in supporting the actors beyond the HP series.

I think its great that hp characters, especially the young ones, are gettng opportunities to star in other films as well, cause they're such great actors and can therefore continue their career after the end of the hp series (i know, that'll be one sad moment...*sad sighs*...but anyway, back to the point...)
I really can't wait to see Rupe in this movie, because ALL OF THOSE WHO CAN TRULY JUDGE ACTING WILL AGREE THAT RUPERT IS THE BEST ACTOR OF THE TRIO. (I mean, for those with enough brains to see that the leading actor isn't necessarily the best, leaving out the people who go; 'O M G he's so cute' or 'God, she's hot' whenever they see a person come on screen and so think that looks makes the actor...)
Anyways... GOOD LUCK RUPE for this movie and your future career!
