As exclusively reported by HPANA back in April, composer Nicholas Hooper is set to write the music for director David Yates' Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, it was announced by Warner Bros. in a press release
today.
...composer Nicholas Hooper will create the film's score, reuniting him with director David Yates for whom he has scored multiple film and television projects, dating back more than 15 years. Hooper won a BAFTA Award for his work on the Yates-directed television movie The Young Visitors.
Helena Bonham Carter, who replaces Helen McCroy as Bellatrix Lestrange, was also confirmed.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is due out in 2007.

And I liked the last lady for BL but if they found someone better great-never heard of her though.

I still crack up every time I read that Helena Bonham Carter is going to be in a Harry Potter movie. She will always be the girl from Fight Club in my mind, and it will be weird to see her in an HP film.

I personnaly think that Williams was the best to do the job, but I liked what I listen about Doyle so I can't wait to see what it will look like (hope that he'll add the original theme and not a scrap thing like the theme into goblet of fire...).

You're kidding me... This is the first that I've heard of Helen McCroy being replaced! NO! She was the ONLY one that looked as I imagined the character in the book! (Actually, she was also the only thing keeping me from running away from the movie in disgust over casting choices since the second movie...) Darn.
I can't find pictures of all of the young Marauders, so I suppose I'll have to go see OotP in order to see if they live up to their characters...

I guess John Williams was always my fabvorite for the HP score, but I'm open to new ideas. As for Helena, I'm sure she'll do a fantastic job as dear old Bella, but hopefully she can capture her poisonous personality perfectly!!!
