This morning many Harry Potter fans woke to reports that Warner Bros. had announced a release date of November 21, 2008 for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
You may remember that in March David Heyman mentioned that Half-Blood Prince was set for 2008.
Numerous sites are reporting the release date:
posted a list of movie release dates, pointing out that Warner Bros. had Harry Potter and
the Order of the Phoenix and Ocean's Thirteen as its two major summer releases for 2007. The sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, will be released on November 21st.Please note that no information about the movie, director or actors has been announced. We will update with any news we receive from Warner Bros. in reference to this date. Thanks to everyone who emailed.

Awsome :D Wow...I can't wait for that either. The cast and producers and others are doing a pretty hard work on theses films and are trying to entertain more audience I suppose. Wow, now I'm really excited :D

November 21st, 2008? Thats exactly 5 months after I graduate High School!! I don't think this is true, someone probaby just make this random date up and just posted it online, and thousands of sites got a hold of it and thought it was true. Lets take this with a grain of salt, what ever that means.

If they do they sixth movie, they couldn't possibly not do the seventh.

I am glad to hear there is some kind of date to the release of the Half Blood Prince. I wonder if they plan to keep filming the next three movies consecutively since the age of the characters will become an issue. I am excited to see the upcoming films.

That's cool. Warner Bros. is now making it easier with the continuous release dates. It's sorta like Lord of the Rings-- with the every year another movie of the series comes out.
I hope that is the release date for sure. I can't wait to see OOTP and HBP in theaters!

Man thats such a long time away. I dont like hearing stuff like this just cause it makes me want it to come out so much more. It seems like too much time in between the movies even though it goes by fast. Im gonna be so depressed after the last movie comes out because it will be like the end of an amazing era. :(
