This morning many Harry Potter fans woke to reports that Warner Bros. had announced a release date of November 21, 2008 for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
You may remember that in March David Heyman mentioned that Half-Blood Prince was set for 2008.
Numerous sites are reporting the release date:
posted a list of movie release dates, pointing out that Warner Bros. had Harry Potter and
the Order of the Phoenix and Ocean's Thirteen as its two major summer releases for 2007. The sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, will be released on November 21st.Please note that no information about the movie, director or actors has been announced. We will update with any news we receive from Warner Bros. in reference to this date. Thanks to everyone who emailed.

Well, aren't we getting a little ahead of ourselves right now? Heh, if that really is the correct date, it's kinda odd that we got it so fast, before we even get a clip from OotP? We just (practically) got the release date for OotP and we're getting this already? Hmm, I'll wait for Warner Bros. to say something first.

Talk about thinking ahead! I'd still be concerned with the verity and achievability of the release date for the next film, let alone the sixth one. Nov 2008 does seem a long way off, but at least Phoenix will come out before then.

That is the most exciting news I've heard in a while. Though I think that the most exciting will be when they tell us that the filming process is complete and they are almost ready to release the film into the theaters. Come on 2007 and 2008!!!
