I'm not really surprised. I think all of the movies except between 1 and 2 had a break of a year and a half. That should put movie 7 at summer 2010.

Are we being punk'd? Do we get to meet Ashton Cutcher? L0L Wow it's hard to believe that means we get OotP and then a year after that HBP! Unbelievable! Wether or not anyone realizes this there is a down-side to this news it could mean that Harry Potter is ending sooner than most of us expected because we get the fifth movie then the sixth the next year. Then the 7th book and then the seventh movie. )'= It's all ending to soon.

Now I'll just stick that in my planner, and I'm good to go! It's seems kind of weird, though. I'm used to waiting forever for anything HP related. It seems like it's all going to be coming at once for a huge Grand Finale...

Man I really don't want to wait a year till the next HP movie comes out. At least this time HPANA will make the wait seem more bearable.

That's exciting. The Warner Bros. people are always talking about how Dan and Emma and Rupert are getting older and thus new actors for the trio may be considered, but if they have a movie come out one year after its predecessor, then that means we'll probably see them for at least one last time. Yay.

That's great news. Are they already starting to make it or something? If not, how can they set a release date for a movie that isn't even into production yet? Thanks for the update.

Wow, a lot sooner than expected!! A bit too soon I think. We'll see if they can make that deadline. I just don't want it to be rushed, we're talking about Harry Potter here. They should take their time with the films. I'm really keen to see OotP, so I'm focused on that film before I think about the Half-Blood Prince. I can't wait!! = )

I'm wondering how they have a date already without a director unless they've got one already and the script is done and they're already talking to the actors . . . Hmmm. . . .
I mean, if they want it out by Nov. 2008, you're looking at a timeline of primary photography beginning around September of October at the earliest, which is only a few months away. Dan Radcliffe is supposed to be doing that play starting around January and you wonder about Emma Watson getting the surfer girl gig. Alan Rickman is supposed to be in talks for a new play for him to appear in too. I wonder if this has been settled though with the actors and they're aware of shooting HBP REALLY soon?
Maybe they have a director already chosen and we'll hear soon. We know Steve Kloves went to work on the script just after he finished reading HBP! And the adults all had their contracts renewed from the fifth film on so anybody returning who isn't supposed to die in this film should be scheduled through to the final film, if not the next at least.
They are moving rapidly with this though. I reckon they aim to finish filming HBP before May/June so that the kids can go into their exams and be done with it all.

Nevermind. IMDB reports that the trio will be played by the same actors and Young Voldy is being played by Christian Coulson, the same guy from Chamber of Secrets. Anyways November is an early birthday gift to me. 18th Birthday in 2008 on November 23.
