This morning many Harry Potter fans woke to reports that Warner Bros. had announced a release date of November 21, 2008 for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
You may remember that in March David Heyman mentioned that Half-Blood Prince was set for 2008.
Numerous sites are reporting the release date:
posted a list of movie release dates, pointing out that Warner Bros. had Harry Potter and
the Order of the Phoenix and Ocean's Thirteen as its two major summer releases for 2007. The sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, will be released on November 21st.Please note that no information about the movie, director or actors has been announced. We will update with any news we receive from Warner Bros. in reference to this date. Thanks to everyone who emailed.

Nevermind. IMDB reports that the trio will be played by the same actors and Young Voldy is being played by Christian Coulson, the same guy from Chamber of Secrets. Anyways November is an early birthday gift to me. 18th Birthday in 2008 on November 23.

They don't want to schedule them too close together, otherwise there could be a conflict with book 7. But hopefully not so far apart that we loose Dan and the gang!

OH my god... for a second there I thought that It said that OotP was going to be released in 2008... and I was all *OHMYGODCRISIS* but thank god that I read wrong... I think that It would make sense that next part of the story would come the year after because by then I think that all of the actors would be out of school and they wouldn't have to work as children... *horray* <333

It's not a big surprise as the date was already found on imdb. And if they keep on going like that we will have the following scheme:
PoA -- Summer 2004
GoF -- November 2005
OotP -- Summer 2007
HBP -- November 2008
??? -- Summer 2010
Too far away to worry about...and I don't see any problems that the trio may be too old. They are 20+ then and can play a 17 or 18 year old any time as it was done so many times before (e.g. Michael J. Fox)! If they want to they will do all the movies!

Aaah back to the winter release dates like when LOTR was still on :) Well i hope its out in 2008, only a year after OOTP, but i would have thought it would be a bit early to predict when it would be out cinsidering they havent even finished this one yet.
