Last week we mentioned
that many entertainment sites had posted a release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Warner Bros. has confirmed for HPANA that the movie will be released on November 21, 2008, 16 months after Order of the Phoenix.
Even though this is the earliest fans have been given news about an upcoming Potter movie, please note that no additional information has been released - which means no director, no cast and certainly no composer.

I think it's a little early for them to be setting a release date, wouldn't you think? I think all the cast will sign on for it as soon as it comes time for that to happen, after all, they are so very close to being done with it all. I wonder when the seventh will come along, 2009 or 2010? We'll just have to see. It is hard to believe that if it's 2010 it will mean that it will have been a decade since they first started making the Harry Potter films. Hard to believe that it has already been six or so years, already. Time sure does seem to fly so very fast, doesn't it. Sort of sad really, I'd prefer that time went a bit slower.
