Last week we mentioned
that many entertainment sites had posted a release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Warner Bros. has confirmed for HPANA that the movie will be released on November 21, 2008, 16 months after Order of the Phoenix.
Even though this is the earliest fans have been given news about an upcoming Potter movie, please note that no additional information has been released - which means no director, no cast and certainly no composer.

Hopefully the reason they can put out a date is that they have already talked to all the actors and they agreed to come back for the next one so it is like a writed agreement or something. Changing the actors now would be really weird.

Haha, they'll be telling us when the movie of the 7th book is going to come out before the books been released at this rate!
Does this mean they've already drafted a script then? Because they'll need to know what they're shooting and when to know how long it'll take, right? I hope they do a great job. I can't wait! I'll be crying buckets at the funeral though. Gosh, I don't think I'll be able to stop.

But ok, if someone has to do something that day, now they know it in advance. But other than that, it is kinda useless.

Yay!!! November tradition will return and this is so much better planning wise as I will have been working for a year and the vacation and sick days kick in!! Not that I plan to abuse them but I am so very glad it will be back in November. Now I can wear my scarf again and you can't wear it in July....

I hope all the cast stays the same for HBP. It would be horrible if any of them leave. Espcially any of the trio...and Tom and Ginny...and the teachers...and everyone really.

Looking forward to both films now!
Even though no actors/directers etc. have been confirmed for the film, it's nice to know when it will come around to our cinema's!
I really hope that the original cast stays, i it hate when we have sequals with different actors playing the characters we all love and hate! But i think they probably will stay, they would mad not to hee hee hee!
