In a recently conducted interview on the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at Leavesden Studios, Daniel Radcliffe discusses the ending of the series and the sixth movie, Half-Blood Prince. He also talks about his next role on London's West End in Equus and his accent in his recently completed movie December Boys.
Dan on the end of the series and if he's spoken with JKR about it:
I've had talks with her but, not about that. I don't know anything that's going to happen in the seventh film. I hope it will be very, very good I'll go with whatever.
I think it will be quite exciting really. It may be the only way (the arch villain) Voldemort could be killed is if Harry dies as well because there is that very strong connection between them.
Dan on if he will participate in the Half-Blood Prince movie:
I don't know. But the sixth book is fantastic and if the script is good and does it justice, then it would be foolish to turn it down.
Dan speaking about his West End debut in Equus next year and appearing naked on stage:
All the other actors who have ever played the part have done that, so for me not to do it wouldn't really be playing the part. It would be a watered down version. It wouldn't be the same.
I'll be incredibly nervous, but I think 'It's in the script; it's got to be done.' I'm terrified, but excited.
Dan mentions at the end of the interview that everyone will have to wait to hear his Australian accent in December Boys when the movie is released and that he enjoyed working in a different country with a new crew.

That should be really interesting! If he can do a good Aussie accent, I'll be really impressed. It's a tough one to imitate and not all actors can do it without the occasional slip up.

Ok so he doesn't say he will be in HBP but he has definitely had discussions about the future with JKR. So I am making a leap of faith here and saying he most likely will be in the remaining movies. I for one will not be able to accept anyone else as Harry so I don't see anyone else being as successful.
As for his next endeavor I do wish him luck. I can't imagine being able to do that part not because of the nudity but the sheer disturbing nature of the part. Besides Uncle Vernon as his shrink so incredibly disturbing!
Still excited about OoTP, though!

These are some big things for Dan...the Equus ordeal is a crazy thing...I've been in plays before and being naked on stage would be wierd... at least at rehersals I would think...When the lights go on and the plays in motion things just happen...so who knows.

As for his play I wish him the best of luck, it takes a great deal of courage and confidence to do what he is doing. I'm sure it will be great though. He's pretty young, isen't it illegal?

I am so happy to see Dan maturing the was he is. I look forward to December Boys and to his success in Equus. My only concern is that his fans will not allow him to grow as an actor. The last thing Dan needs is a slew of 14 year old girls, in the audience, screaming, "whooping" and fainting during his nude scenes. I am hoping that some sort of restriction will be in effect regarding the purchase of theater tickets.

I hope Warner's don't make an issue of it though. Also, I wonder whether the "trio" will be considered too old for their parts,by the time the 6th and 7th films come out. It will be hard for me to imagine anyone but Emma Watson,Rupert Grint,and Dan Radcliffe in the roles of Hermione,Ron,and Harry.
