In a recently conducted interview on the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at Leavesden Studios, Daniel Radcliffe discusses the ending of the series and the sixth movie, Half-Blood Prince. He also talks about his next role on London's West End in Equus and his accent in his recently completed movie December Boys.
Dan on the end of the series and if he's spoken with JKR about it:
I've had talks with her but, not about that. I don't know anything that's going to happen in the seventh film. I hope it will be very, very good I'll go with whatever.
I think it will be quite exciting really. It may be the only way (the arch villain) Voldemort could be killed is if Harry dies as well because there is that very strong connection between them.
Dan on if he will participate in the Half-Blood Prince movie:
I don't know. But the sixth book is fantastic and if the script is good and does it justice, then it would be foolish to turn it down.
Dan speaking about his West End debut in Equus next year and appearing naked on stage:
All the other actors who have ever played the part have done that, so for me not to do it wouldn't really be playing the part. It would be a watered down version. It wouldn't be the same.
I'll be incredibly nervous, but I think 'It's in the script; it's got to be done.' I'm terrified, but excited.
Dan mentions at the end of the interview that everyone will have to wait to hear his Australian accent in December Boys when the movie is released and that he enjoyed working in a different country with a new crew.

I am looking forward to seeing December Boys. I'm glad he is doing new projects. I bet it is hard to talk with a new accent. I can't wait to hear it, and I'm sure he did great.

The last two films just won't be the same without Dan! He has to finish the series!! I can't imagine anyone taking Dan's (or Emma's or Rupert's) place in the films..It just won't be the same without him! He's The perfect Harry and always will be!

I hope he does the 6th film, along with Rupert and Emma. It just wouldn't be the same if the true trio didn't do it.

Everyone that is a big fan of Harry Potter would want Dan to come back for the final movies anyway. I just hope that he thinks about his fans and do what is best for them and continue. It wouldn't be the same if Dan got replaced with another actor for the role of Harry because everyone that has seen the film would most likely not see it again if he was replaced. He leaves this sort of touch to Harry that makes everyone feel like it has happened to them and makes them know what it is like to be picked on by others and no one wants to get rid of that feeling. If it did go, then everyone wouldn't understand the whole mood of the story and no one would have feelings for Harry. I think Dan should keep going with his career and never stop until he feels like he has to. I also think he is the perfect Harry Potter and will be the only Harry Potter that I will ever know.

That's kind of disappointing that he would go naked in a play, kind of like a sell-out to me. Disappointing of his character to me.
As far as his being in the sixth film, it would be a shame if they had to switch actors because people decided they were done for whatever reason.

hee hee hee, now I REALLY have to see this play *Grins wickedly* On the website www.imdb.com they have Dan, Emma, and Rupert down as playing Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the sixth film, and most of the time they are extremely accurate, so I bet they are going to do the sixth movie. Although, haha, I can't wait for the 5th let alone the 6th!
