Harry Potter author JK Rowling and actor Alan Rickman attended today's premiere of Alan's film "Snow Cake" at the Edinburgh International Film Festival
.
You can view some pictures of JKR, Rickman and others who attended here.
On another note, Rupert Grint and Julie Walter's movie Driving Lessons will premiere on Friday, August 25th at the festival.

Thats probably cool for both of them to be hanging out with one another. hes a famous actor who plays a part in her book and she is a famous author who wrote the book for the role he plays haha.

I'm pretty sure that the movie is about an autistic woman (played by Weaver). Rickman plays either a brother or husband role.. couldn't tell from the short preview that I saw this morning on the news. Suffice to say that he had a few funny, almost Snape-ish lines. Looks like a good movie.
