To follow-up on our last
news post on the release dates for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Warner Bros. has now revealed that the movie, (Harry Potter y la Orden del Fénix) will be released in Spain on July 20th, a week after the U.S. and UK releases.
Fans in Australia will be delighted to know that the release date for the movie has been moved up to July 12th, instead of September 6th, as previously reported.
Thanks to Harry Latino and TLC for the new dates.

CissaMalfoy, exactly! I mean the main point is that it's been lifted. I was getting to a stage that if it would be lifted to late July I would so happy. Even moving it up to August would of made my day but moving it to the same time as you guys is perfect. We've never received the movies at the same time as you guys. And I know I'm one of the people who's mentioned that the movie will be here a day before but I guess it was just the shock of the news. I mean the release date moving 2 months earlier is BIG!!! (well for the Aussie's who had been compaigning to move the date up anyhow!)
Oh and the only reason it's a day ahead of the US and UK is the fact that our new movies come out on a Thursday so thus eaning we get it on the 12th! Oh and then it will be in the school holidays for us! My daughter will be so happy, she doesn't have to miss school to see the movie!

Its stupid that Australia normaly has to wait so long after the UK to see the films when its one of our old collonies, they speak English, theres no need fo make them wait so much. THat foreign speaking countries get it before the origional english version just baffles me. I have never understood why they dont do a world wide release date...would be so much easier and fairer. Well good news for you Aussies! :D

You know, its probably the same time released, but because of time differences they end up on different days? Like the books, they were released different DATES, but at the same time, just because of timezones it seems different.

The weekend when Phoenix will be released will be a hotbed of Pottermania all over the globe!
I am not sure whether fans would want the film to be released at the same time or delayed a week or so, in order for the stars to attend premieres all over the globe.
Obviously I want to watch the film first in the UK though, and get to see JKR, Dan, Emma et al at the film premier in Leicester Square too.
