'OotP' release dates in Australia & Spain

To follow-up on our last
news post on the release dates for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Warner Bros. has now revealed that the movie, (Harry Potter y la Orden del Fénix) will be released in Spain on July 20th, a week after the U.S. and UK releases.
Fans in Australia will be delighted to know that the release date for the movie has been moved up to July 12th, instead of September 6th, as previously reported.
Thanks to Harry Latino and TLC for the new dates.

YAY! Thank God. I was on the verge of collapsing when I heard that I wouldn't get to see the movie until September 6th, but I can definitely handle getting it a day before the US. YAY!

Wow this is wonderful news for our cousins across the ocean. A early viewing is ALWAYS good news for anyone. I know that everything will be wonderful both in USA and internationally. (Just think I was born in Madrid Spain and I COULD have been BILINGUAL but my mom and dad(Military stationed in ARRIGON AIR FORCE BASE) never taught me Spanish.... Ohh Well. I still like to listen to it sometimes to think about what it would have been like. (Sorry mind wonderd again.) Congratulations everyone to knowing your release dates.

I was feeling bad for people in Australia and Spain. Imagine having to wait till September when Europe, Canada, and the US were already seeing the film. I think it was smart of them to rethink that. With people willing to make illegal bootlegs of films it wouldn't have been two days before the movie was available in those countries anyway.
