In May we reported
that the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD held the Guinness World Record for being the fastest selling DVD of all time.
A recent article from their publication on the feat has an interview with Dan who talks about the best part of being in the movies and when asked what he thought about the world record said:
It's amazing. I'm so grateful to everyone for buying it. All I can say is a great big thank you. It's wonderful!

As more & more Harry Potter fans read the books & watch the DVDs, it is possible that Films 5,6 & 7 will also break such records.

As much as I'm glad GoF has that honor, I don't think, like many other people do, that OotP or any other HP movies will take that away from Goblet. Of course, GoF is my favorite book, but I think this movie has action and plot that can't be beat.
