Devon Murray, (Seamus Finnigan) from the Harry Potter movies, recently kicked off
off UNICEF Ireland's Kids Helping Kids campaign. The campaign hopes to raise €100,000 ($128,172), with funds going directly to support UNICEF programs to bring safe water to children caught up in emergency situations.
Devon, who is from Kildare, launched this year's campaign at a children's party and said:
UNICEF Ireland want children right across the country to get involved in this year's 'Kids Helping Kids' campaign. There are lots of ways to have fun and raise money for UNICEF's safe water programmes for children at the same time.
Please join this year's campaign - it's a great event that everyone can easily participate in!

I wonder if its only for people in ireland to participate in or not...sounds like a nice thing for him to do, wonder how much they'll raise considering hes not exactly the biggest part in HP. Tehe i was just going to say why is it trying to raise Euros...keep forgetting Ireland changed its currency, silly me.

I wanna help kids too! Heh, it'd be nice. How will they raise? Just people giving donations? I wanna participate, I think I will. The last thing I want on my conscience is causing kids to have cholera. :O I'll be a small part, but I can still help. :)

It is so refreshing to see that the actors from this series are busy putting their fame to good use. YOu don't hear about them galavanting about acting like fools and setting bad examples. They are out making a positive impact on the world. Good for you Devon!!!
