Devon, who is from Kildare, launched this year's campaign at a children's party and said:

UNICEF Ireland want children right across the country to get involved in this year's 'Kids Helping Kids' campaign. There are lots of ways to have fun and raise money for UNICEF's safe water programmes for children at the same time.

Fantastic Devon. I think UNICEF will really benefit from having Devon's face to represent them in Ireland. He also seems to care about the cause, so this makes it a double happiness. I'm stoked that the HP actors/actresses are helping the world out, instead of just soaking up the fame.

That is so good, I really think that people who are in the public should get involved with charities to raise awareness. And also, what else could they do with all that spare cash?

Another Potter using his fame for the greater good, Good for him. Kids should help kids, teach them the importance of helping others. Best of luck for that organization and to Devon.

That's sweet of him. Most celebrities don't help out like this, at least not that I know of. While Britney Spears is letting her baby ride around in the back seat without a seatbelt, I'm glad he cares enough to help the less-fortunate ones.

Cool. I think I participated in UNICEF one time for girl scouts (the whole trick-or-treating-for-UNICEF gig) but I'm in the US and it never really went farther than that. It's wonderful how all the HP actors are using their fame for the greater good.

This is fantastic all children around the globe should get involved. If our kids know from an early age about poverty and start young, think of all the adults doing the same in the next few years.
If we start now, hopefully, we could irradicate poverty altogether in a few short years.

Well done to Devon Murry for getting involved
