Harry Potter 5 filming near completion

HPANA had the great honor of visiting the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix today in the UK.
A teaser of our report will be published along with the teaser trailer for the film later this year, and a full report will follow in 2007.
It was day 103 of about 150 days of shooting, and the movie is shaping up to be another blockbuster success. We toured the set, interviewed the stars and saw several scenes being filmed. Unfortunately we can't offer any specifics right now, but the wait will definitely be worth it. (We did independently verify, however, that there will be no Quidditch in the film, to Rupert Grint's chagrin. He's looking forward to other scenes, though.)
In attendance today were representatives from (left to right) Sci-Fi Channel
, IGN, Veritaserum, HPANA, ComingSoon.net and DanRadcliffe.co.uk.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be released July 13, 2007. It's directed this time around by David Yates, with music by Nicholas Hooper.

Awwww. that stinks I was hoping that they would show him on the broom and the chanting changeing from weasley is our king the bad version to the good version. and the similaritys between Ron and harry's dad with the rumpling of the hair.

Even though I'm not a huge fan of the movies, it still is a must see when a movie is finally released. I have to say, that I'm looking forward to Book 7 much more though.

YaY! ^_^ The films almost done! Seems like only yesterday they started filming.. Ah well, im not complaining! The sooner the better!

Oh No! I was really looking forward to seeing Quidditch in the film! :( I hope, just by taking quidditch out, they wont take the scene out where Harry, Fred + George beat Malfoy up, That's gonna be an awesome scene in the film!
Anyways, Glad the filming is going great, Keep up the great work guys!

Poor Rupert, he was really looking forward to those scenes too. Ah! Does that mean we won't see Emma kiss Rupert on the cheek? Because in the book Hermione does that right before a match... dangit!

It is a pity that there's no Quidditch, although it is not crucial to the plot, but it would have been good to see Malfoy being thumped by Harry.However, hopefully they will be putting in lots of material from the book that is more exciting.

Wow that is cool i can't believ how fast they do special effects! although i hate how long it takes for them to come out! but there is a plus side maybe the 7th book will get done sooon( croos our fuingers) and then all the original cast can do all 7 movies.

But, if Rupe says taht there are other htings that he's looking forward to, I guess no harm done... The filming is going rather quickly, isn't it?? Well, I can't wait for the finished product!

This is awsome. It's good to see that they are just about done filming the movie. Next comes the fun part of adding all the CG and editing. Can't wait till next July. Hopefully the 7th book comes out at around the same time.
