HPANA had the great honor of visiting the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix today in the UK.
A teaser of our report will be published along with the teaser trailer for the film later this year, and a full report will follow in 2007.
It was day 103 of about 150 days of shooting, and the movie is shaping up to be another blockbuster success. We toured the set, interviewed the stars and saw several scenes being filmed. Unfortunately we can't offer any specifics right now, but the wait will definitely be worth it. (We did independently verify, however, that there will be no Quidditch in the film, to Rupert Grint's chagrin. He's looking forward to other scenes, though.)

In attendance today were representatives from (left to right) Sci-Fi Channel
, IGN
, Veritaserum
, HPANA, ComingSoon.net
and DanRadcliffe.co.uk
.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be released July 13, 2007. It's directed this time around by David Yates, with music by Nicholas Hooper.
Stay tuned for exclusive tidbits in the near future!

Well, I am certainly glad they are that far along....now I would really like to hear about them working on the NEXT movie, or more about the next book release.
I just cannot imagine the end. It's just...well I don't know, unspeakable.

Very excited for the movie, but doubt it will be half as good as the book. I was extremely disapointed at the Goblet of Fire movie. I had hoped they would do much better than that. What happened to SPEW?

Oh my goodness, there can't be any CLUES? I wish they did have at least a couple for us to see :/ And its a shame there's not going to be any Quidditch. I really wanted to see the Weasley is our King scenes. Its going to be a great letdown in terms of that.

Yes yes yes! GoF was so good, and the movies keep getting better and better, so OotP should be absolutely excellent! I especially like the idea of the director including more emotion in this film. Dan looks great, too!

No quidditch?! Well, I suppose that it is a little gratuitous in the most part. That is one long shoot, though, considering that you get some films shot within three weeks. Two thirds of the way through - oh, July 13th seems so far away!

Why are they not filming any qudditch scenes?? That makes me so mad. That is supposed to be one of Harry's favorite past time that Umbridge takes away. Grrr.

Looks like their right on schedule, if the filming has just about been completed. I wish there could be some Quidditch, but there are a lot more scenes to include anyway.
