A brief snippet from Extras featuring Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe was shown on the Jonathon Ross show last night in the UK. The clip also shows Ricky Gervais and Jonathon Ross discussing the episode in which Dan appears.

The episode featuring Dan will air on BBC2 on Thursday, September 28th at 9:00 pm. No air date for the U.S. has been announced yet.

Thanks to HP4U for letting us know that Julie Walters also appeared on last nights show. Julie confirmed that she has finished filming her role for Order of the Phoenix and mentions how level headed all the kids have remained despite all the success of Harry Potter, thanks to their parents. oh my!! My jaw dropped when he started making the hand gestures and the comment about hoping it would be big enough! it was funny, but I was kind of shocked! I always get a kick out of what the British get away with on television! we never see shows like that here in USA. there's always some moron who gets "offended"...

I can't help it... everytime I see this clip (many times now) I just laugh my butt off!! Dan is hysterical and Ricky's timing is perfect as usual. My only regret is that we in the U.S. won't see it until much later than those of you in the U.K. I can hardly wait, but believe me, I have my TiVo ready and waiting!!

It was really funny, but kinda shocking as well. I guess Dan is trying to show everybody how grown-up he is and that he's not just a kid who plays Harry Potter. I understand why he's doing that, but still he is only 17. I'm surprised his parents were comfortable with him doing that.
