To add to the batch of pictures from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix that we previewed yesterday, another one featuring Evanna Lynch, Luna Lovegood, has also appeared
online.

I hold faith that Evanna Lynch will truly seize Luna Lovegood's character in an inimitable way that will stun us all as we watch the movie. However, I must recognize that I am concerned about her appearance. I am content that they have for the most part remained faithful to the description given of her in the book. Nonetheless, it is hard to tell from this picture to which sex her character belongs; it almost seems as if she is Lucius Malfoy at a younger age or something.
At least I am no longer worried that she looks like Jamie Spears. Now I'm just overwhelmed with concern that she looks too boyish.
Despite this, I am hopeful that she will make a great Luna Lovegood.

She's great she could still stand to lose a little blonde in her hair but awesome. The fact that she's a huge Potterhead will definately help in her portrayl of the character though the director will have a lot to do with it too. CANT WAIT!

Well, you can see her waist length hair if you look at the full photo, so they've got her hair long enough. I think she looks spaced out enough. Now, if she can act...we're all set.

Wow! I'm so glad that they found Evanna for this role. Even in that interview that is available for viewing online, she not only has the looks... her mannerisms are so Luna! Not in an odd way, but a cute way! As near and dear the other cast members are to me, it took me a while to adjust to them not fitting my vision of the books. Evanna is probably the first that fits the role perfectly off the bat in my mind. Don't get me wrong, I could never picture a different Harry, Hermione, Ron, etc now, but at first I wasn't sure. With Luna, I am positive! Three cheers for Evanna Lynch!
