While promoting his latest movie Driving Lessons in Los Angeles, Rupert Grint mentions briefly the atmosphere with the new director David Yates, filming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and his ideas where his character Ron will go.
Rupert also discusses rumours about Chris Columbus and Alfonso Cuarón’s participation in the sixth and seventh films.

I really want to see Deiving Lessons... it's at the local theatre... problem is I just moved here, and don't know exactly where it is... moving from Kansas to England...is crazy. I love Julie Walters... so I have to see this movie. As for the direction of the last two HPs... it would be cool if they could get Tim Burton to direct one... call me crazy...but I think he might do a fab job of it. Well anyway... laters!

I totally think that every director of the harry potter movies should meet and do the last movies.... I think all of them have good ideas... so if they somehow mix all of them together they will end up with a magical and great movie done by the best... Whatever they do I hope the last movies are the best, because so far I dont have a favorite....

Aww good interview! - weird site, but nevermind! he he
He seems so nice and laid back! And I kinda feel sorry for him, cause even when he makes a new film that has nothing to do with HP, he's asked out about it!
Anyways, I liked the 4 film best, so I'm hoping the 3 last films will be in the same style :)

OH!!
I dont really want chris columbus back at all..
i mean he did well with 1 and 2 but i just cant imagine that type of style in the last two just because they are going to be so emotional and i dont think he could handle it and make something out of that!!
BUT I DO LOVE 1 AND 2 but i cant see him for 6 or 7

Correct me if I'm wrong but did Rupert say that they filmed the entire movie Driving Lessons in 6 weeks? Compared to the Harry Potter movies that's nothing.

Brilliant...Well done Rupert, IF, Chris Columbus returns to the HP set to Direct. I feel that movie 6 and 7 would be presented and put to an ending the way, we would want it to be.

Ahhh, I cant download the video NOW... Is there ANY transcript I can read? No, no?? Darn it, I guess I'll have to guess what he had to say, David Yates helps you to bring out the emotions of the character? Who said that now... I think Emma.

I don't think Chris Columbus should direct book 6 & 7 at all… his style is all wrong for them… well we haven’t ready 7 yet, so I can’t say for sure that he’s wrong for it, but he’s definitely wrong for 6.

As long as they stick to the book, i think they should do it. three heads are better than one. they can each add their touch to the movie and creat something huge of it.

I'm not sure if I'd want to see either Columbus or Cuaron directing the last movies. I mean they each did a good job, but I don't mind seeing someone new either.

What I really Liked about Chris Columbus was that he was very loyal to the books.
PoA is my favorite book..... but the movie just dosen't do it justice!!! Half of it isn't even in the book!!
And Important things like Harry's first Quiddich Cup didn't come out!!!
And he got the Firebolt at the end instead of at christmas!!!
GoF was soooo Far From canon you hardly get what's going on!!!
I Hate Dobby not being in the movie.... and Harry was the fastest to get the egg in the 1st. task..... so what is with all the dragon chase and destruction?! Do you really think Dumbledor would just sit back and let a Student get chased by a Dragon.....
It's like 20% canon, 80% someone else imagination!!!
I just hope who ever gets movies 6 and 7, sticks to the books!!!
That's what we really want to see!

Yeh, get Cris Columbus back but not Alfonso, how ever you spell his name,Ther 1st and second films were absolutly brilliant and very true to the book but the films, in my opinion took a downwards spiral from the 3rd, I am actually re-concidering going to see the 5th film now.

I would only accept Columbus as a director for one of the last two movies if he took the darker route that was begun by Cuaron. The first two movies were great, but they really were a little too disney-fied.
